Work at the Doss

Our Story: Since 2006

The Doss Heritage & Culture Center is a Texas & Parker County History Museum, dedicated to bringing history to life for all generations to experience and enjoy. Previously, the history and culture of Parker County was housed in one room inside the Weatherford Public Library. Now, the 23,000 square foot Doss Heritage and Culture Center is available for the world to enjoy the rich history and culture of the area.

Our Mission & Vision

The mission of the James and Dorothy Doss Heritage and Culture Center is to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Parker County through cultural and educational events that raise awareness and pride in our western heritage.
