COVID-19
First and foremost we are dedicated to the safety of our guests and staff. Masks are recommended in the Museum. Please be courteous of our staff and visitors who might be wearing masks for health and safety reasons. If you choose to not wear a mask, please practice social distancing.
Private Events
- Events can be held at the Doss at 100% capacity in Heritage Hall.
- Masks are recommended in the Museum. Please be courteous of our staff and visitors who might be wearing masks for health and safety reasons. If you choose to not wear a mask, please practice social distancing.
- Private event clients can enforce their own mask policy inside the rented area, Heritage Hall, at their discretion.
- Event Staff will wear masks when interacting with the public at their own comfort level or at the Private Event Clients request.
- Heritage Hall will be sanitized after each event with a sanitizing sprayer and tables and chairs and surfaces wiped down.
- The Doss will provide sanitizing stations at the entrance of the building and entrance to Heritage Hall and in the Kitchen. It is recommended clients bring additional hand sanitizer for their guests in the event.
- Social distancing recommendations will be posted at entrances but not enforced directly by Doss Staff.
Programs
In-Person Programs
Guests are not required to wear masks at our in-person programs.
We will still be offering digital programs for those families who are still not comfortable being in public spaces.
Our Education and Programming Staff members will continue to wear masks when interacting with the public & program attendees.
Museum Opening

- All interactive gallery features will be closed, removed, or modified per the State guidelines.

- Social Distancing tiles are still located throughout the lobby and galleries to encourage visitors to practice social distancing.
