Summer Camps

The Camp experience at the Doss is one of our favorite times of year because we get to connect kids to history through a unique hands on experience. Under the current restrictions outlined by the State of Texas the camp experience you have come to expect from the Doss is not possible. Many of our camper’s favorite hands on activities would have to be removed in order for us to comply with the State’s guidelines. Instead of offering a sub par in person camp experience we decided to adapt our camp into a new hands on history experience at home. We have taken some of our favorite camp crafts and activities and some new exciting ones we have never done before and created Camp Crates! These crates will be a thematic at home history experience that combines STEM activities, art, cooking, history, and more. We will have 4 thematic crates released throughout the summer (one theme every two weeks). Each Camp Crate also comes with access to a Google Classroom where more exclusive in depth content will help bring the crates to life.

Camp Crate will be $30 per box, $25 for Doss Partners and current registered campers will have the option to convert their camp registration fees to apply to camp crates. You can bundle and get all the Camp Crates for $100. You would receive one Camp Crate every two weeks. Camp Crates will be available for pick-up at the Doss. We will have a shipping option for an additional charge.

Please visit our Camp Crate Page for more information on the Crates!

All in person camps will be cancelled for Summer of 2020
