Mary Lane Garmon will lecture on her father’s life and work through his book “Prairie County Sketchbook.” The exhibit Goodbye to a Prairie explores the creation of Homer Norris’s beloved Parker County Prairie Sketchbook through original artwork, photographs, and behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the book. Guest curated by Norris’s daughter, Mary Lane Garmon, the exhibit provides a personal perspective on her father’s work. Garmon will also present a special lecture on Thursday, October 8, discussing her new book and the development of the exhibit.
