STEAM Labs at the Doss are an opportunity for your child to challenge their mind in science, technology, engineering, art or math each month. Often, the monthly project includes several of these disciplines! This is a program that is geared toward engaging your child and helping them build and strengthen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This month’s lab is “Frankenstein Candy Dispensers.” The student will be given a set of instructions and supplies to build their own candy dispenser–and even though they will be similar, believe us that no two projects will look exactly the same!
STEAM Lab is a free, monthly program provided by the Doss.

Join us on Friday, October 31st at 10:30am for a special Halloween Edition of Museum Explorers. We’ll be examining the origins of Halloween treats, what kiddos used to get from neighbors and how very far we’ve come over the years. We’ll even make a simple, fun Halloween treat to take home! Kiddos will also be conducting a “Ghost Hunt” in the museum, so get ready for an AWESOME time!
