Our Story: Since 2006
The Doss Heritage & Culture Center is a Texas & Parker County History Museum, dedicated to bringing history to life for all generations to experience and enjoy. Previously, the history and culture of Parker County was housed in one room inside the Weatherford Public Library. Now, the 23,000 square foot Doss Heritage and Culture Center is available for the world to enjoy the rich history and culture of the area.

Internship
Museum Education Internship
Schedule May 26th 2020 – August 1st 2020 Tuesday – Friday 9am-5pm Scheduled Saturdays during program time only.
Compensation $3,125.00 for 10 weeks
Application Deadline April 15th, 2020
Qualified individuals will assist the Museum Education Department with the implementation of summer Kid’s Camp at the Doss. Applicants should have a general knowledge of Texas History and education theories/practices, possess excellent writing skills and LOVE working with children. Interns must be able to work outside during our summer camps.
All applicants must be enrolled in college. At least 18 yrs of age. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA and completed at least one semester of college by June 2020.
