Summer at the Doss


Kids 7-12 years old

This summer we will be offering 3 camp sessions! Camps are three days long and will engage kids to experience Hands on History and fun!

Campers will be with us each day from 10am-4:30pm. Each child will receive a camp t-shirt and 2 snacks per day. Lunches are to be brought by campers each day. 

*** Due to COVID-19 we will be restricting camp attendance to 30 kids per camp. We will also performing forehead temperature checks at Camp Check-in daily – and campers will be sent home or not admitted if displaying symptoms of virus. The Doss staff will also be practicing sanitation protocols throughout camp! 


Kids 7-12 years old

Take hands on history home with you! Topics and release dates coming soon. Crates are $30 each or $25 each for partners. Bundle your crates together or with our in person day camps to receive a discount!


June 9-11th, Registration Required

Let your kids take a journey back in time to Pioneer days. Campers will experience the daily life of a pioneer family first-hand. Some activities include: pumping water from a well, washing laundry using a wash board and clothes line and tending a garden.

Each camp session is $75 per child.


June 23rd-25th, Registration Required

Archeology is the study of human history and prehistory through the excavation of sites and the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains. Campers will learn to excavate a site, catalog artifacts, and tell a story from the pieces of a life lived long ago.

Each camp session is $75 per child.


July 7-9th, Registration Required

Campers will learn about cowboys of the past as well as modern cowboys. Join us as we experience the daily life of the Texas Cowboy. Our fun schedule of activities includes roping practice and Cowboy STEM projects!
