Here are some of the details for the Kids Camps:
Who: Kids Ages 7-12
What: Education Day Camps. Each Camp is three days long and will engage kids to experience Hands on History and fun! Everything from planting a pioneer garden to chuckwagon cooking – milking animals to experiencing the inside of a Native American Tee-Pee. Campers will spend time both inside the museum and outside in the museum grounds and at Pioneer Cabin Park!
CAMP 1 June 5-7: Pioneer Life, 10am-4:30pm; A three-day exploration of Pioneer Living
CAMP 2 June 26-28: Native Americans, 10am-4:30pm; A three-day exploration of Native Lifestyle and Culture
CAMP 3 July 10-12: Trail Drivers, 10am-4:30pm; A three-day exploration of Life on the Cattle Drives
Where: All camps will be held at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center 1400 Texas Drive Weatherford, Texas 76086
How Much: Each 3 Day Camp is $60 per child or $50 per child if your family is a part of our Doss Partner program. Each camp registration includes a T-shirt.
