Each artist will need to bring a photograph or email (www.cb.williams@dosscenter.org) of 3- 5 pieces they would like to submit to the exhibit. They need to submitted by Aug 1 and they will have notification by Aug 15. They need to leave their address, phone number and email address, the name of the piece of art, what medium is it, the size and the price if it is for sale. The Doss takes 30% of the sale price. I was told just this morning by the Weatherford Art Association (VP of Shows) that the Doss would jury the show for WAA members. I am a member of WAA and would like to submit photos to be juried for the show. What info should I include with my photos and how will I be notified if any of my work is accepted? Thanks.

The Weatherford Art Association is in the old fire station in second block on Palo Pinto. We are having an exhibit for that club in Sept. I am sending you the phone number so that they can better answer your questions 817-599-3278. Hope this helps you. We are also having an exhibit called Expression from the Soul from Oct to mid Jan. It’s a juried exhibit, if you are interested in being in this exhibit you need to contact C.B. Williams the Exhibit Coordinator at 817-629-9175. I am new to the area and would like to know more about the Weatherford Art Association and it’s member’s. I really am interested in the upcoming art exhibit. Do you have to be a member of the association and if so when is the art work being judged? Any information that you could send would be appreciated.

It’s the Weatherford Art Association and their members. They are jurying the exhibits before the art is delivered to the Doss. Hope this answers your question, if you have any other questions just let us know.
